How does
the Alliance Reservations Network Affiliate Program work?
Our Affiliate Program allows you to make money by referring
customers to our Booking Engine through your customized Affiliate Template.
You do this by placing links on your site and every time one of your users
is directed to ReserveTravel.com and makes a reservation, you earn a commission.
It's that easy!

Why should
I join?
There are many reasons to join! Becoming an Affiliate is free, and you
can make money with very little effort. As a Affiliate, you can add value
to the content of your site.

What are
the benefits to me and my site?
Joining the Affiliate Program will provide you and your site with many
benefits. You can earn higher commissions than with other online travel
programs, improve your cash flow (because you can receive a commission
check each month for the previous month's bookings), experience higher
conversion ratios with our detailed content, and offer your users access
to exclusive properties that cannot be booked anywhere else online. This
means that you can generate above average revenue every month while giving
your customers what they want.

Is my Web
site eligible to join the program?
Most sites will qualify to participate in the program. Anyone
may submit an application, but we do reserve the right to refuse membership
to a site or revoke a site's membership at any time if we deem that it
contains adult oriented and / or objectionable material.

How often
and how much commission will I receive?
Web sites that totally integrate travel are far more successful
than those that just put a link to the hotel-booking engine on their site.
The revenue you generate is directly proportional to the traffic you generate
as well as the exposure hotels and travel has on your site. You will earn
commissions based on the Compensation Plan you select (you may change
Compensation Plans at any time).
Plan 1 - Flat Fee (the most popular):
Commission is based on the number of room nights booked through your site.
At the end of every month, we pay commissions on the reservations booked
during the previous month at a rate of $5.00 (USD) per room night.
Plan 2 - Commission Percentage (for
sites that generate high value bookings - Resorts, Spas, etc.): You receive
70% of the actual commission received from the supplier. Commissions are
paid at the end of the month for commissions received during the prior
month. Suppliers generally pay commissions within 30 to 60 days after
the guest checks out.

Which plan
is better, Plan 1 or Plan 2?
That depends on alot of things. Let's take a look at an actual month's
bookings by one of our affiliates to compare:
| Room nights booked |
8, 406 |
| Total Room Revenue
booked |
$ 744,851 |
On Plan 1, he would have received a commission check of $42,030
for the month (8,406 x $5.00)
On Plan 2, he would likely have received $36,497.
Why the large difference? Commissions are paid on reservations that are
consumed (that is, ONLY if the guest actually stays for the number
of nights booked). The average cancellation / no-show rate is about 25%.
We pay our affiliates 70% of the commission we receive. Compensation on
Plan 1 is paid whether or not the guest actually stays.

What about
cancelled reservations?
For Affiliates on the Flat Fee Program, we do NOT
currently charge you if a customer cancels a reservation, or if credit
card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud. However,
Affiliates on the Commission Percentage Program are subject to
charge-backs should any of the above situations occur.

What about
branding? I don't want to promote someone else on my site.
Alliance Reservations Network is the engine behind the site.
That is, we do not "brand" our name. We brand the service in
your name and you have many options that help customize the service to
fit your look and feel. In addition, we offer easy "html coding"
that allows you to totally integrate the hotel-booking engine on your
site.

internationally, and in some cases the check can be cut in the currency
